Our newest collection of hand-dyed yarn in bright jewel tones and named after San Juan Islands resident orca family, the J-Pod! Each colorway was inspired by and named after an orca in the pod. The collection was designed to offer both high and low contrast options for colorwork as well as beautiful colors that can stand alone. The collection offers both subtle tonal variations as well as true variegated colorways.
Salish Sea Yarn Co.’s Dolphin Bay line of yarn is a DK Weight, 100% Superwash Merino Wool, hand-dyed on Orcas Island. Each skein color may vary, even within the same dye lot. For best results, alternate skeins every few rows.
