Colorwork Knitting Class with The Grove Beanie

Join us while we explore corrugated ribbing and stranded 2 color knittng while making the Grove Beanie. Led by guest knitter and beanie designer, Cathy Vierthaler. 

This is a two part class taking place on February 15th and 29th from 10-12pm. 
This is an Advanced Beginner Level Class. Participants should know how to cast on, knit and purl.

Materials Needed: 

• Grove Beanie Pattern 
• Can be purchased on Ravelry (htps://www.ravelry.com/paterns/library/grove-beanie) or as part of the Grove Beanie Kit.
• Worsted weight yarn (12wpi) as called for in the pattern
• Pre-portioned Grove Beanie Kits are available in the shop which feature our line of hand-dyed yarn with the pattern included.

• 16" US 8 (5mm) circular and double point needles
• 12 stitch markers (including one to mark the beginning of the round)
• Yarn needle, scissors and tape measure

Alternative charts for the borders and for a tree variation will be provided.
