FINISHED MEASUREMENTS:

39" [99 cm] in circumference and 11" [28 cm] deep

YARN:

heavy worsted - 150g

NEEDLES:

20" or longer circular in sizes US 10 and 10½ [6 and 6.5 mm]

GAUGE:

16 sts and 20 rows = 4" [10 cm] in stockinette stitch, after blocking

NOTES:

Cowl is knitted flat beginning with a provisional cast on. Ends are grafted together to form loop. Stitches are picked up and knitted along each selvedge edge and joined for working the round.
