Gnome Workshop - December 10th 1-3pm

A Workshop for Knitters and Felters ages 12 and up! Angie Hidalgo of Salish Sea Yarn Co. and Mandy Troxel join forces for a uniquely wooly take on Holiday Gnomes. Knit the body and hat of the gnome with Angie, and then Mandy will show you how to add features (think impressive wooly beards) and accessories. A whimsical project that will teach you a variety of tips and tricks in working with fiber. 

You will need to bring a set of double-pointed needles in size US 5 in order to knit your gnome.  
 

Not a knitter? We will have hand-knit gnome bases for an additional $15. 

Not a felter? This is a perfect project for beginners. We’ll have all the tools you need.

Cost is $35 for the class, and a $15 materials fee, with an additional $15 if you’d like us to knit you a gnome ahead of time. Space is limited, so registration is required.

About Mandy Troxel: Mandy’s part of a trio of women who form “Bossy’s Feltworks”, an Orcas-based needle-felting business that began in 2006 (www.bossysfeltworks.com).
